Book Celebration event in Sekolah HighScope Indonesia-Medan didn't start on Tuesday, November 28, 2017. It started earlier, when ES and MS students proclaimed their pledge as Sumpah Anak Bangsa, on October 28. Then came a week of exploring and gathering information about Indonesian provinces they were assigned with. After that, in Pesta Rakyat the students exhibited their results of exploration and proposed ideas to solve problems found. Finally, in this Book Celebration, they showed what they have proposed in Pesta Rakyat, in forms of fiction stories and performed traditional dances, games and songs.
Now how can children not learn, when they were so much engaged, took charge and be responsible in an exciting school project like this?
