Independence Day 2017

During the Indonesian Independence Day, children are exposed to a variety of Indonesian independence day games such as 'Balap Karung', hunting flag, catching fish, Egg on Spoon race, and Crawling race.
It is closed by having 'potluck' with all parents & children, teachers and staffs.
We had a flag-raising ceremony to celebrate the Indonesian Independence Day. Elementary and Middle School students, teachers, staff and parents joined together in one spirit as we appreciate the freedom that our heroes have fought for us, 72 years ago. The students band played several national songs during the flag-raising ceremony. Everyone sang in harmony and raised our flags as well as our spirits, as an expression of joy and gratitude for our independence.
After the flag-raising ceremony, Elementary and Middle School students joyfully participated in various games. Parents contributed by bringing food and drinks, participated in the games and joined the group dance together with students and teachers.
